Twenty-five New York state educators from Syracuse to Long Island — yes, Manhattan was included — met at Rensselaerville Conference Center for three days to form Think Tank 2010 (TT10). Facilitated by Sarah Daignault, former Executive Director of NBOA, we reviewed the profess
ional development services NYSAIS offers, including conferences, workshops, and institutes. What made this gathering so special fo
r the Association's future is that TT10 also looked at our accreditat
ion process and how professional developmen
t can help sustain our school communities, i.e. governance, aspiring leaders, new heads to New York, and online learning.
