NYSAIS Board Chair Roundtable - December
Are you a new or experienced board chair (or vice-chair) at your school? Please join us for a facilitated discussion of the strategic imperatives related to board chair leadership in independent schools today. This interactive format will allow participants to hear the perspectives and ask questions of experts, seasoned pros and peers new to the role. The conversation will be facilitated by NYSAIS Director for Evaluation and Professional Learning George Swain.
George Swain is currently Director for Evaluation and Professional Learning at NYSAIS. He has also served as Head of Middle School at both Poughkeepsie Day School and Brooklyn Friends School and holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership from Columbia University and in History from Binghamton University and has received both the Klingenstein and NAIS/EE Ford Fellowships.
