Like Movie Digital Wellness Screening and Panel

Date: Wednesday - February 19, 2020
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Rye Country Day School Performing Arts Center, 3 Cedar Street, Rye, New York

Join us for a screening of LIKE, an IndieFlix Documentary: Trailer

Technology is a tool. It’s here to stay and social platforms are a place to connect, share + care, but what’s really happening? By understanding the effects of technology + social media on the brain, on our lives, and on our society, we can learn how to navigate it more safely together.

We invite families in grades 6-12 (parents, guardians, and children) from the community to join the RCDS Technology Committee and the Health + Wellness team for the screening of Like.  The 49-minute film will be followed by a Q & A panel of RCDS students and faculty members on the topics of social media and wellness.

If you have questions or would like to register a group, please contact
Priya Singhvi, Director of Health and Wellness or
Katie O’ Shaughnessey, Director of Academic Technology.
