Teach21 Summer Workshop: Zoom, The Room and The Science Notebook

Date: Monday - June 14, 2021
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Online/virtual
Teach21 is a professional development institute focused on 21st-century teaching and learning. Workshops are developed and taught by faculty and staff of The School at Columbia University, with focus on innovation, integration and technology in a wide array of content areas.

In this workshop, you will have the chance to experience hands-on learning on zoom. In addition, you will see how the notebook can become a powerful pedagogical tool. Children take ownership of their record-keeping and the presentation of the information that they are learning, with appropriate scaffolding from the teacher.
