Berkeley Carroll is an independent, college preparatory day school located in one of the preeminent neighborhoods of New York, the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. Providing coeducational programs for children in prekindergarten through grade 12, Berkeley Carroll shares its neighborhood with writers, artists, film makers, lawyers, and doctors as well as with the rich cultural heritage provided by the neighboring Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, and Prospect Park. Officially chartered by New York State in 1886, Berkeley Carroll is one of the oldest independent schools in New York City.
