Programs for Schools

Please use the menu on the left to view the many programs that NYSAIS offers to its members. Below a few of our latest initiatives have been highlighted.

NYSAIS enjoys a collaboration with the Hybrid Learning Consortium (HLC). This partnership allows NYSAIS member schools to easily implement an online learning program into their current curriculum while:

  • Allowing them to expand their current course offerings
  • Providing them with an online curricular presence at a highly competitive rate
  • Connecting faculty and students with faculty and students in a growing collaborative of school through the world
  • Assisting faculty at NYSAIS schools with the professional development needed to develop the expertise needed to create and teach online synchronous-asynchronous courses

Be sure to check out the resources available through NYSAIS-Now, the site for online professional development and school improvement resources. Designed specifically for independent school leaders, NYSAIS-Now provides timely and valuable information to busy professionals within our association and beyond. Content covers a broad range of themes and topics with leadership and governance of independent schools as a particular focus. NYSAIS-Now features eSeminars, Interviews, LiveStreaming, and Talks.

A significant piece of NYSAIS-Now, livestreams allow you to experience selected talks by keynote conference speakers in real-time throughout the year. Attend one (or all) of our outstanding NYSAIS residential conferences without leaving the comfort of your home or office.

No registration is required. Simply set aside the time and go to the NYSAIS-NowLivestream page at new.livestream.com/nysaislive to participate. To find out more about specific talks and speakers, please consult the full conference program at nysais.org. Additional NYSAIS-Now Livestream sessions will be announced throughout the year.

NYSAIS's ELAS Program is a mission-driven initiative to help independent schools succeed in today’s complex and ever-changing world.

Established in 2012 to meet a growing need from member schools, ELAS provides high-impact, low-cost advising and mentoring in areas such as governance, leadership, and long-term planning.
