Professional Learning Series
NYSAIS Professional Learning Series are collections of related events offered throughout the school year around a focused topic. Series are designed to build knowledge over time through practical sessions, shared language, and opportunities to learn with peers across the independent school community.
Governance
Strong governance and ongoing professional learning are essential to the success and sustainability of independent schools. Governance provides the strategic vision, fiduciary oversight, and mission alignment that guide a school’s long-term direction. Effective boards partner with school leadership to ensure resources are managed responsibly, policies are clear, and decision-making is transparent and mission-driven.
Trustee Series
In partnership with the Independent School Association of the Central States (ISACS), NYSAIS is offering our member schools access to this special online educational series for boards and heads of school. This series includes a collection of ten one-hour, monthly webinars on important governance topics.
