Mergers and Acquisitions in Independent Schools is an asynchronous course aimed at independent school trustees and school leaders, designed to form a foundational understanding of school consolidation. From key terms and the delineation of the role of governance in this type of transaction to consideration of merged cultures and markers of successful mergers in the nonprofit sector, this professional learning offering—authored by a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor®—serves as a level-set for schools interested in or considering a merger opportunity.
