Update your school profile

Your profile is the public-facing description of your school on nysais.org – what admissions teams, prospective families, and job candidates see. Half of the 2.4 million yearly page views on nysais.org land on member-school profile pages. Worth keeping current.

Before you start

You need the Profile permission (or admin access). Not sure who has it? See Grant admin or user access.

Steps

  1. Open the Profile tab in the portal menu.
  2. Click the blue pencil in the lower right of the page to enter edit mode.
  3. Review the school description and rewrite anything that reads dated. Two or three sentences that describe who you are and who you serve go a long way.
  4. Check contact info, address, and links. Scroll through – there are more fields than you might expect.
  5. Save.

Preview your work. Open the schools directory and find your school as a prospective family would – it’s the fastest reality check.
